Welcome Church is a large, lively, diverse, multi-generational church in the centre of Woking, Surrey. Their vision in all that they do is to see Life Transformed Through Jesus. They regularly gather over 1000 adults, youth & children at their two Sunday meetings, as well as serving & engaging hundreds more during the week. 

Operations Manager

They are seeking a passionate, organised, and people-focused individual to join the Operations Team and take the lead in managing all food-related activities. This includes supporting the smooth running of the Community Grocery, overseeing the church kitchen, and assisting volunteer cooks with event catering.

The role requires a combination of practical, hands-on skills, strong organisational ability, and a heart for serving others. They will work alongside volunteers, suppliers, and ministry teams to ensure all food operations run safely, efficiently, and with excellence.

This is a key role in supporting the church’s mission to love and serve the community through practical care and hospitality. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with an active Christian faith and a passion for operational excellence. While experience in food management or catering is desirable, training will be provided for the right candidate, as the team can draw on extensive volunteer catering expertise.

Salary: Up to £35,000 FTE
