Welcome Church is a large, lively, diverse, multi-generational church in the centre of Woking, Surrey. Their vision in all that they do is to see Life Transformed Through Jesus. They regularly gather over 1000 adults, youth & children at their two Sunday meetings, as well as serving & engaging hundreds more during the week. 

Operations Manager

They are seeking an experienced and committed Finance Manager to help steward the finances of Welcome Church as it continues to grow and serve the community. This person will manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare reports for senior leaders and trustees, and ensure excellent financial governance in line with charity law and best practice.

The ideal candidate will bring accuracy, integrity, and a proactive approach to improving systems and providing ministry teams with clear, timely financial insight. They may also have experience, or a desire to develop skills, in enhancing the church’s overall data and reporting capabilities.

This is a key role at the heart of the church’s mission, ideal for someone who combines professional accounting expertise with a servant-hearted desire to see lives transformed through the work of Welcome Church.

Salary: Up to £35,000 FTE

Hours: 22.5 hours (3 days) across the week
