This booklet grew out of a personal study on the Kingdom of God, beginning with Jesus the King and His invitation to live in line with God’s nature, will and the reality of His coming Kingdom. Focusing on the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes, it reflects teachings that have inspired generations to build lives and churches that bring transformation to the world. A ‘light bulb moment’ came through the Greek word makarios, often translated “blessed” but better understood as “flourishing.” This booklet exists to encourage every reader to flourish where God has placed them. Each section includes a short Bible study, a Commission focus, a memory verse and short prayers for individuals, churches and the wider Commission family.
