The Spring Church Vision is to see the church become a life-giving community that impacts Aukland with the Good News of Jesus Christened carries His hope to the nations.
We believe God is calling us not only to Auckland, but to the nation of Aotearoa (Māori name for New Zealand, “Land of the Long White Cloud”) and beyond… to the wider Oceania region, which eagerly awaits the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.

New Zealand Impact Story
In January 2026, Rahul, and his wife are moving from India to Aukland New Zealand to plant a church. This will be the first time that Commission has planted a church from India, a 3rd world nation, to a 1st world nation! We’re doing this in relationship with the Catalyst sphere who already have churches in New Zealand and who are going to support us as we plant into Auckland.
The church will be called Springs Church, a name rooted in multiple prophetic leadings received over time. God declares in Isaiah 41:18; “I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.”
What a glorious promise of renewal and transformation! And in Revelation 7:17, we find another breathtaking assurance: “For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” As we eagerly await the eternal Springs to which our Good Shepherd will lead us, we believe God is calling us to begin here on earth with Springs Church, a place where living water will flow into parched, barren and weary hearts, bringing healing, life and abundance.
Spring Church
Rahul and Jacqueline, lifelong residents of Mumbai, have sensed a strong call from God to relocate to Auckland and plant a church for the glory of Christ. After much prayer, wisdom from others, and careful preparation, they — along with their son, Jeevan — will make this significant move in January 2026. We’ve seen God’s favour at every step, guiding them and gathering a growing group of people who feel called to join this mission.

One of these people is Phoebe. She first visited New Zealand in February 2025, where she fell in love with the land, sea, and people, sensing God speaking through the mountains and creation. When the Auckland church plant was announced at Commission Prayer & Fasting, the idea of moving became serious

Phoebe’s Story
Catalyst, one of the spheres of our wider family of New Frontiers, has graciously extended its full support to this church plant. With churches already established in Wellington, Christchurch, New Plymouth, and Nelson, Catalyst has long prayed and desired to see a vibrant, Spirit-filled, charismatic church established in Auckland.
As Commission, we are thrilled to join hands and hearts with Catalyst in this mission, believing together that God is birthing a new expression of His Kingdom in Auckland. “How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commands His blessing.” (Psalm 133:1,3)
