Social Justice, Mental Health and the Church

Mahatma Ghandi once said that “the greatness of a nation can be judged by how it treats its weakest members”. As budget cuts and restrictions force a cut in public services, might it be time for the church to step into the gap? In this seminar we look at God’s massive mandate for social justice that exists in His word. We look at the specific field of mental health and at the practical ways in which the church can offer love and support to a group of people who are becoming increasingly isolated and marginalised.
