‘A Bride fit for her King’ – Social Action in the church

In 1998, Simon Petit exhorted New Frontiers to ‘Remember the Poor’ The gospel is good news to the poor - so how can we as gospel believing churches ensure we, his bride, are good news to those experiencing poverty, injustice and isolation around us? So that those in need actually hear, see, experience and are transformed by the good news of Jesus? In this seminar I will be talking about our journey as a church in Bristol to care for those in need in our city, and how each and every church can step into their calling to be truly gospel - centred. We will also be giving time for questions and ministry.
