Pastor
Grace Church is an all-age local church family of about 60 members, within the Commission sphere of Newfrontiers. Who aim to see Jesus glorified in everything they do – in preaching the gospel and seeing lives transformed by God's word and spirit; in serving and reaching out to our local community; in actively encouraging and promoting mission throughout the world to extend God's kingdom. They seek to teach, understand and follow the whole message of the Bible.
Their vision is to be a beacon of hope and love in their community, running a number of regular community groups including Pop-in (a social gathering for seniors), Toddlers, 180 club (secondary age youth group), Kids Club (primary age kids group) and The Wellbeing Cafe.

Grace church is seeking a pastor to lead their congregation in spiritual growth and deeper into their vision of reaching the local community, particularly reaching families.
You should :
Love Jesus and be filled with the Spirit
Adhere to the FIEC basis of faith and be happy to work in a Newfrontiers church
Be a gifted preacher and teacher
Be passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with the community
Be invested in the members of the church family and their individual spiritual growth

Location: Grace Church, Caversham, Reading, RG4 8TR. (Would be required to relocate to Caversham.)

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Preaching and Teaching: Delivering sermons on Sundays, leading Bible studies, leading Alpha
Vision and Strategy: Work with the elders in developing the church vision and strategy.
Leadership: Lead and mentor the wider leaders and work with the church to implement the church's vision and strategic plan. Raise up new leaders within the church.
Pastoral Care: Overseeing the spiritual, mental and physical care of the church members.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community, building relationships to extend the church's outreach and impact.
Trustees: Sit on the board of trustees
